Diagnostic and Assessment Data
Diagnostic responses are used to generate personal reports, recommend pathways, personalize learning, support coaching and programme delivery, and provide aggregated administrative insight to EMET. Diagnostic data is treated as developmental and reflective — not clinical, medical, psychological, or predictive. Participants may request deletion of their diagnostic record at any time, subject to operational and enrollment recordkeeping requirements.
Payment and Enrollment Data
When live payment integrations are enabled, payment processing may be handled through Paystack (for Naira settlement) and Stripe (for international USD settlement). EMET does not store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on its own servers; these are handled by the applicable payment processor. EMET retains enrollment references, programme selections, and confirmation records needed to deliver the purchased programme.
Email Communication
We may send transactional, programme, and institutional communications related to your diagnostic, pathway, enrollment, or waitlist activity. Where required by applicable law, marketing communications are sent only with consent and may be unsubscribed from at any time.
Cookies and Local Storage
The platform may use cookies and browser storage to maintain session state, remember preferences, and operate core functionality. localStorage may currently be used for prototype and MVP persistence of diagnostic progress, pathway state, and similar data. Backend storage may later be introduced as the institution matures, at which point relevant data may be migrated and persisted on EMET infrastructure under this Policy.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers acting on our behalf (including payment processors, hosting providers, and communication providers), with sponsors or institutional partners where you are participating under their sponsorship, or where required by law. Service providers are bound by confidentiality and use limitations.
Data Security
We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the platform. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and participants share information at their own discretion.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to deliver the School’s programmes and reports, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce institutional agreements. Diagnostic and pathway records may be retained for ongoing developmental and longitudinal reporting unless deletion is requested.
User Rights
Subject to applicable law, participants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, withdraw consent for non-essential processing, or object to certain uses. Requests should be made in writing through the contact channel below. Some records (e.g., enrollment and payment) may be retained where required by law or institutional integrity.
Children’s Privacy
EMET School of Parables™ is an executive and marketplace formation platform intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has submitted information, please contact us so the record can be removed.
Third-Party Services
The platform may integrate or link to third-party services, including payment processors (Paystack, Stripe), communication providers, hosting providers, and educational tools. Their use of information is governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to review.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the institution and platform evolve. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of an update constitutes acknowledgement of the revised Policy.
